I bring a wealth of life and business experience to my work.  Real estate is the happy medium that allows me to combine my love of home renovation, history, and architecture, while using my business skills and working with people.  I love my work, and it shows in my dedication to my clients.  I enjoy helping people make big transitions in their lives and sharing the ups and downs of each transaction.  I educate my clients about the process, help them plan ahead, and enjoy finding creative solutions if problems do arise.  I love the variety of negotiations, people, and properties that real estate always brings.

I have lived in the Bay Area since 1998, with four years in San Francisco and six spent renovating my home in Albany.  Still in Albany, I am happily renovating my second “fixer.”  Having owned, renovated, and sold property in the East Bay myself, I have a real understanding of what my clients face when buying or selling a home.  I especially enjoy the physical aspects of houses, from the structural systems like plumbing and foundations to historic details of interior design and modern eco-friendly improvements.

As the daughter of engineers and grand-daughter of a real estate agent, I bring a practical eye to each home and can offer some real-world perspective on what improvements a home might need and how to make them.  Before coming to real estate I studied archaeology and worked in museums, so I also bring my love of art and architecture, history, technology, different cultures and languages, and an interest in seeing homes and people from fresh perspectives.

I also gained extensive business experience while working my way through college and graduate school, from the corporate world to non-profits.  I am a data geek at heart who adores translating complex ideas and crunching numbers with spreadsheets, logistical and strategic planning, and adapting to different people’s work styles.  I excel at monitoring the details while keeping an eye on the bottom line.
